Terms of Service
Last updated July 15, 2026. By creating an account or using Credorz, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Credorz provides business identity, verification, trust scoring, document storage, and related tools for private-market counterparties. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the service for lawful business purposes. Features may change, evolve, or be discontinued as we improve the platform.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be legally able to form a binding contract and authorized to act for the company you register. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current information for your account and company.
- Keep credentials and session tokens secure, and not share them.
- Use Credorz only for lawful business purposes.
- Be responsible for all activity under your account and organization.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or security incident.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, forged, or fraudulently altered documents or data.
- Attempt to verify a company, person, or relationship you do not represent.
- Access, probe, or disrupt the platform's infrastructure, or reverse-engineer it.
- Misuse another company's Passport data beyond what was shared with you.
- Use Credorz to violate any law, including sanctions, anti-bribery, or AML regulations.
- Attempt to manipulate the Trust Index or inject false signals.
4. Verification content & your representations
When you submit documents or data for verification, you represent that they are authentic, accurate, and that you have the rights to share them. AI extraction supports but does not replace verification; verified data is promoted only after review. Credorz is not a guarantor of the accuracy of information you provide.
5. Business Passport & sharing
A Business Passport is your company's controlled profile. You decide what to share, with whom, and for how long, subject to the access controls we enforce. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you publish in a Passport, and for complying with obligations to your counterparties when sharing verified data.
6. Trust Index
The Trust Index is an evidence-based, explainable estimate computed from your verification status, signals, and network relationships. It is not a credit score, a legal certification, or a guarantee of any business outcome. It may change as new evidence arrives or the model evolves, and it is versioned so historical scores remain attributable.
7. Fees & billing
Some features require a paid plan. Where applicable, fees, billing cycles, and terms are set out at the time of purchase or in your agreement. Paid plans renew according to their terms unless cancelled. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
8. Intellectual property
Credorz, its software, design, and brand are owned by us or our licensors. You retain all rights in the data and documents you submit. We receive a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service as described in this agreement and our Privacy Policy.
9. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only to perform under these terms, except where disclosure is required by law.
10. Suspension & termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risk, prolonged inactivity, or legal requirement. On termination, your right to use the service ends; certain data is retained as required by law (see our Privacy Policy). Sections that by their nature should survive — including liability, IP, and governing law — remain in effect.
11. Disclaimers
Credorz is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that verification results are error-free or that the service will be uninterrupted.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Credorz be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or a nominal amount for free tiers).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Credorz harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of third-party rights — including submitting data you are not authorized to share.
14. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you a right to a different forum. We'll try to resolve disputes informally first — contact us.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
